Our school Biology laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance the learning experience for ICSE and ISC students. Equipped with modern laboratory instruments, it provides an ideal environment for students to conduct a wide range of experiments prescribed in the curriculum. The Biology lab is stocked with all the necessary tools and materials to perform detailed experiments, ensuring students have hands-on experience to reinforce theoretical concepts.

The laboratory also features well-maintained models, including anatomical and scientific models, and aids for visual learning. Detailed models of human physiology, including systems like the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems in our laboratory stir the curiosity of the students in learning anatomy. These models enhance the learning experience, allowing students to explore and understand the complexities of human biology in a tangible way. 

In addition to this, the laboratory is fitted with interactive smart boards, making learning more engaging and providing easy access to digital resources, videos, and simulations. This approach encourages students to connect classroom learning with real-life situations, making science more relevant and engaging.

chemistry lab is a special place where students explore the world of chemicals through hands–on experiments. In the lab, students move beyond text books and learn by doing - mixing solutions, observing changes, analyzing results and drawing conclusions. Performing experiments deepen their understanding of scientific concepts, careful observation and critical thinking. It also teaches children important skills like accurate measurement, safe handling of chemicals and responsible behaviour. Overall, it plays a vital role in making science learning practical, exciting and meaningful.

Our school is equipped with 3 state of the art computer laboratories. All the labs are equipped with DELL and Lenovo computers with up-to-date configuration, high-speed internet, Interactive Touch boards and latest educational software. These labs cater to the learning needs of students across all age groups.

Two labs are dedicated exclusively to younger students up to VII standard. Here, children learn fundamental digital skills such as typing, drawing, educational games, simple coding activities. These labs help develop early confidence and curiosity in technology. 

The third lab is specially designed for higher classes from VIII to XII, offering an advanced setup for learning programming skills. Equipped with updated software and high-performance computers, this lab supports students in areas such as Python, Java and Web development. 

We ensure that every learner whether a beginner or an advanced user receives the right environment and resources to grow in today’s digital world.

English Room activities enhance students’ communication skills. It focuses on the four language skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (LSRW). The primary objectives are to build confidence and improve their proficiency in English. English Room activities are designed in a such way to make it lively and engaging:

Geography Laboratory is well equipped to facilitate the learning of Geography with great interest. The tools in the lab, such as the globe, maps, laminated topographic sheets, and models of oceans, bays, etc., help students gain clear exposure to the basics of the subject. They stir curiosity and help students imbibe essential knowledge and skills related to Geography.

The smart classrooms provide crystal-clear explanations of the theories taught, making learning more engaging and effective. The interactive board, the latest technological addition, is highly useful for teaching lessons through PPTs, videos, map-making, data analysis, and more.

The Mathematics lab in our school is a vibrant, well equipped space designed to make learning mathematics enjoyable and practical. It provides students with hands on experience through models, geometric instruments, puzzles and activity kits. Concepts like geometry, algebra, mensuration and number systems become easier to understand when explored through interactive activities.

The lab environment encourages logical thinking, teamwork and problem solving skills, students use tools such as 3D shapes, friction kits, abacuses and measuring instruments to explore mathematical ideas in a creative way. Regular activities, demonstrations and projects help students correct classroom learning with real life applications. The maths lab truly enhances confidence and develops a deeper interest in the subject.

The recently added smart touch screen TV is useful in many ways:

 VMJ’s School Physics Lab is an engaging space where theoretical concepts from the classroom truly cone to life. Equipped with various instruments like spectrometers, galvanometers, and optical benches, it provides us with the essential tools for hands-on experimentation. We regularly conduct experiments on topics ranging from mechanics and optics to electricity and magnetism, allowing us to verify scientific laws and understand the practical applications of physics. It’s an ideal environment for fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills through direct observation and measurement.
